Aroma:
An aromatic masterpiece with rich fruitcake mingling with fudge and toffee notes. Butterscotch sauce over vanilla ice cream. Sweet-fruit characters emerge with a dash of water; apple and banana.

Palate:
Oaky and rich with a distinct hazelnut character emerging. There is a hint of bitter fruit, like cooking apples, to balance the sweet caramel and malty notes and prolong the complexity.

Finish:
Character by the cask load. Sherry notes dominate but never overwhelm this Arran Malt which has taken twelve years maturation in its stride. Older and wiser?
